I hope you are all doing well! I can’t believe it’s already been over a week since the blessed month of Ramadhan has started! I hope everyone’s in their routine and is at ease with the long summer fasts, and I also pray that our fasts and efforts are accepted inshallah!
So I’m starting a new series on HH, surprise surprise 😅 A friend of mine, Siddiqah, asked me to do a whole post on where I get my hijabs. She was thinking online stores, but I thought I’d extend it to places in the GTA in case my fellow Torontonians wanted to just pick them up instead of ordering online. I actually get this question a lot, it’s one of the most commonly asked. I also frequently get asked where I get my skirts and maxi dresses from, so I thought, why not make a whole series on it!
Thank you Siddiqah for your suggestion! I really encourage anyone and everyone to message me with blogpost requests so I can give you content that is beneficial to YOU! Sorry it’s quite late though since you asked, but I thought it’d be great timing with Ramadhan. Whether you’re looking for yourself or even to get for gifts, I thought it’d be good to know for this season!
Just a disclaimer – although I have collaborated with many of the brands mentioned in this blogpost, all opinions are 100% my own. I truly love the hijabs that I have from these brands and would honestly recommend them to you! Hence I’m writing this blogpost in the first place! This is just a sister-to-sister talk!
I’m going to start this shopping guide with online, with Canadian based brands.
Obviously, shipping is available to the US and other places, but these are brands that are based in Canada and hence in this category.
ModeSTyles has every kind of hijab you can think of – lace, solid, crystal, ombré, pearl, sparkly, printed, and the list continues! They even have square hijabs and are super kid friendly! I’ve worn their hijabs before and I was highly impressed by their variety and quality!
They also have gift cards and ModeSTyles ‘gifts’ already made for you, in case you’re thinking for Eid 😉
You can also choose GTA pick-up so you don’t have to ship it out!
HH Blogpost: HTS: Little Black (Maxi) Dress post
Voile Chic is probably one of the most famous brands for Chiffon Hijabs! No lie, they’re actually amazing! If you know me, I’m very comfortable and adamant about my same ole viscose/cotton maxi hijabs. But, when I received chiffon hijabs from Voile Chic, I completely changed my mind! I’m still getting the hang of styling them for everyday, but I really like them! They’re perfect with a more dressy outfit because they’re quite elegant! (They have other hijabs too btw!)

Next up are more online stores, but are based Internationally (aka not in Canada)
These places do offer shipping to Canada!
The Hijab Souq
Ahh, The Hijab Souq, what can I even say!! I honestly love them so much! They have every solid coloured hijab you can imagine, along with printed, lace, pom pom, ombre, pearl trim, and sparkly! My favourites are the new crinkle hijabs! 😍 They also just released new square printed hijabs!
They also have modest clothing and indo-western outfits! Their clothing is too pretty (mashallah mashallah), I’m literally always showing my mom the new pieces I want to get!
And better yet, they offer free shipping to the US and Canada for orders over $50!

Covered in Confidence
If you’re looking for more fancy/evening wear hijabs in fabrics like jersey or chiffon, then hit up Kaniz from Covered in Confidence! I love her unique colours and twist on the regular old hijab. She adds frill, zipper edges, beads, and lace in a different way! Message Kaniz if you’d like to order, or check her out at Mubarakville in New York!

Verona Collection is a US/UK based brand for modern islamic clothing and hijabs! Honestly, my favourite hijabs of theirs is their satin-trimmed viscose hijabs. The hijabs are so light and comfortable and the satin trim just adds the perfect touch to jazz up a plain solid hijab. They also have clothing – dresses, skirts, tops, and even activewear!

HH Blogpost: Summer Trends 2016
And last but not least, we have In-Store, GTA hijab companies!
The first is Silks, which is a store in the Bramalea City Centre. It’s literally just a store of hijabs, but they also carry some jewelry, hair accessories, and other items. This isn’t an ‘islamic’ store, but it’s a hijabi’s dream. They have solid and printed hijabs for a very reasonable price (around $5!), so it’s worthwhile to check out if you’re in the area!
Believe it or not, you can find some really cool hijabs from Ardene! Personally, we shop there more often for square hijabs, but some of my favourite printed hijabs are from there, so it’s worth checking out! They also have many outlet locations so you can get a very good deal!
Dara Boutique, formerly just an online store, has now opened a location in Mississauga, where they carry their beautiful hijabs along with abayas and home decor! It’s honestly worth checking out just because it’s so nicely decorated 😍

(Website is being updated)
The Islamic Lifestyle store Modah, located in Mississauga, has a plethora of hijabs from HijabPins Canada and HijabiMama that will suit any need! From every fabric and design you can imagine, they’ll have a matching hijab for you! The best part is that you can grab some Halal Gummies and shop their many brands, so it’s well worth your while!

Fashion Caravan – available at Salam Shop (Mississauga)
The Fashion Caravan has many hijab designs, including unique florals and prints, crinkles, pleated, and polka dot! I had to include her because she carries the tassel and zari border hijabs from Noor XO Designs and I’m totally obsessed with them!
And there you have it, that concludes my hijab shopping guide! Let me know in the comments what other requests you have for future “Where’d You Get That?!” posts inshallah!
Check out my Instagram for Ramadhan outfit inspiration as I’m posting many of my daily ootds from going to the mosque/iftaars!
